Installing Descent Desktop Theme for Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95

   1. Create a directory called "Descent" in the Plus! Theme directory 
      (usually "C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes").
      It MUST be called "Descent" 
   2. Copy all of the files in dsntheme.zip to this directory. 
   3. Copy "Descent.scr" to the Windows System directory
      (Usually "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM") 
   4. Bring up the Control Panel. 
   5. Click the Desktop Themes to display Desktop Themes applet. 
   6. Click the Theme dropdown combo box, select Other... 
   7. Double-Click the Descent directory. 
   8. Double-Click the "Descent (high color).Theme". 
   9. Click OK to install the theme. 

Replacing the startup and shutdown bitmaps

These are the Windows 95 Logo, "Please wait while your computer shuts down" and "It's now safe to turn your computer off" bitmaps.

Be sure to backup the files before proceeding.

   1. Copy "Descent logo.sys" to "C:\logo.sys" 
      NOTE: "C:\logo.sys" may not exist. 
   2. Copy "Descent logos.sys" to the Windows directory
      (Usually "C:\WINDOWS\logos.sys" ) 
   3. Copy "Descent logow.sys" to the Windows directory
      (Usually "C:\WINDOWS\logow.sys" )
